Ivano Zanotti is noticeably a precocious drum groove, since he started out when he was only 8. In his teen days he studied with Maestro Mauro Gherardi learning almost all drum secrets and modern techniques, while in the meantime he studied at the Bologna Music Conservatory G.B. Martini, where he got his degree in Classic Percussions.

After an intense and widespread background with some of Bologna’s finest underground bands, including Gli Atroci, Splatterpink, S.I.P Tonic, Zois, and ART, Ivano went touring USA in 2006 with Manolo Badrena (Wheater Report), in 2008 and 2009, touring coast to coast with Black Smokers, and in 2010, with Hammond legend Brian Auger in tour of Europe.
